What is Image Consulting?

Image consulting is more than providing advice on what to wear. It focuses on your overall image encompassing your appearance and how you communicate.

Through detailed consultations, I show you how to best present your true self and the qualities you offer.

You learn the skills and tools to perfect your image rather than a quick-fix makeover with no lasting results.

Research shows image consulting gives people more than just a superficial boost; it has a positive influence on their self esteem, self confidence and personal happiness.

It leads to greater opportunities be it personally or professionally and benefits those around them.

So passionate I was in my mission to help people like yourself, that I left my career in journalism and government/political communications to become a fully trained Image Consultant and Stylist with internationally certified qualifications.

While helping personal and professional clients, my background gives me the inside knowledge and expertise to serve a political clientele.

My professional background, as a partner in our farming business, and as a mum have given me abundant life experience to keep me grounded. I have met and worked with people from all walks of life and have an ability to connect and empathise at all levels.

By working with me, you’ll be in the capable hands of a skilled image consultant who’s absolutely committed to you and your needs.

What's involved in a consultation?

During a comprehensive consultation, I determine the client’s personal colours and body shape and show them how to use this knowledge and more to maximum effect.

The clients receive a colour swatch (for a colour analysis) and detailed books for both colour and style consultations.

During a wardrobe edit, I work with the client to organise their closet and determine what they need.

During a personal shop, I pre-shop in advance to determine where to take the client to get what they need. It means the shopping experience is strategic and successful.

Consultations take place in the comfort of the client’s home or office.

What do I need? A room with good natural lighting for colour draping. And an absolute commitment to your journey and outcome.

Can I choose a service to suit my specific needs?

In addition to the standard services, there is a wide range of packages on offer. If, however, you would like a customised service, please contact me to discuss what you require.

What does the express service involve?

Express services are offered in the service packages and image workshops due to the limited time period.

Colour and style consultations are shorter however the client receives a colour swatch and detailed information booklets to refer to.

How does the Style Support program work?

The Style Support program gives unlimited access to advice over a period of time whenever needed and I will respond as promptly as possible. You can send photos or call and Skype me by appointment.

You can also opt for a Style File created via a private Pinterest board (if you don’t have an account, it is easy to set up). You will receive an invitation from me to access, collaborate and contribute to your board. It will include your personal style information plus regular posts of outfit and style ideas specific to your needs, to be used as a reference guide.
These services are ideal after consultations where you can get friendly help until you’re confident to style and shop yourself.

What is my investment?

Many lifestyle-related appointments we make have short to medium term benefits.
Seeking the services of an Image Consultant can have longer term benefits, some life changing.

There can also be financial benefits from job or promotion opportunities.
An improved image leads to more confidence, in yourself and your life.

Do you travel?

Yes I come to you.

I also travel nationally for workshops and keynote presentations.

What are the travel costs?

If an airfare is required, I will of course find the most economical option.

If accommodation is required, it will be reasonably priced.

Travel costs by car may also apply. For those of you who really need the details can find them here.

How do I pay?

For local appointments, payment is preferable prior to the day, by direct deposit.

Additional hourly fees may apply if extra requests are made and require more time, and will be invoiced accordingly. Invoices are required to be paid within seven days.

Travel by car to local appointments may be included, depending on distance.

A 50 per cent deposit is required when booking an appointment requiring interstate or considerable travel. The balance is required to be paid five business days before the appointment. Payment is preferably by direct deposit.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations need to be made in writing seven days before the appointment, which can then be rescheduled at a convenient time for you. Please contact me for more urgent situations.

Do you refund?

Yes, I am happy to refund the remaining 50 per cent of the cost if paid in advance of the booking. Please understand the deposit will not be refunded due to pre-travel booking costs and business preparation costs.
